The story of my Ambo Conversion

My Ambo was born in the pandemic, when travel became restricted, but the call for the open road did not.  This Ambo had a 20 year life as a Paramdeic Vehilce for the El Cajon Fire Department in San Diego, California.  Shortly before the pandemic the Ambo was auctioned off, and became part of a fleet of ambulences that were being converted for a medical supply company.  However, due to the pandemic, the business was never launched, and it became for sale to the general public.  In May 2020, she began her new life as a soon to converted Ambo/RV,  The conversion took a full dedicated month, which began with the gutting of the interior, and then a buildout - including converting her to a fully functional self-contained RV, with a bed, sink, cooking facilities, toilet, fridge, and more.  (See specification for full details).  With the conversion completed she was successfully re-titled in California as an RV (from a specialty vehicle), which was critical for ease of insurance and to obtain access to RV only sites.  With only 172,000 miles, this well maintained, lightly-used vehicle has the potential for a million miles of memories.
